My approach is based on the following core concepts:

Primary Food: Achieving optimal health during perimenopause and menopause is more than the food on your plate. It's how you nourish yourself through relationships, stress management, sleep, career and environment. Everything is connected—and during this hormonal transition, that connection becomes even more critical. I'll help you find balance to achieve a healthy mind, body and spirit.

Bio-Individuality: There's no one-size-fits-all approach to managing menopause. Every woman's hormonal journey is different. That's why there are so many conflicting recommendations out there. As your menopause health coach, I'll work with you to find what actually works for YOUR body during this transition. The goal is a sustainable, nourishing lifestyle that supports your changing hormones—not another restrictive diet.

Individual-Based, Not Theory: We're bombarded with menopause advice daily—try keto, go vegan, cut carbs, take this supplement. When something doesn't work, it can feel like failure. But there's no one right approach for everyone going through menopause. I'll encourage you to explore what truly works for your unique body and symptoms.

It’s How You Eat: I want you to enjoy what you eat. That’s why we’ll work together on mindful eating and how to incorporate the pleasure principle.

Aim for an 80/20 Lifestyle: This is about progress, not perfection.

Eat Real Food: I'm talking whole food, not processed and packaged food. More vegetables, good quality protein, more water, better sleep, less alcohol and coffee. These particular diet and lifestyle changes support your hormones and can transform how you feel during perimenopause and menopause.

Given Half the Chance, the Body will Heal Itself: We're a society that wants a pill for every ill. This transition is not an ill. It’s absolutely natural and in fact, it’s the reverse of the same change you went through at puberty all those years ago, but in reverse! I’m certainly not against hormonal replacement therapy, however I do feel we should give our bodies the support and chance to work through this transition.

Deconstruct Cravings: The body doesn't make mistakes—it's a super biocomputer! Just like your lungs never forget to breathe, your body knows what it's doing. I'll show you how to listen to your cravings (yes, even those menopause chocolate binges!) and find healthy ways to satisfy them.

Crowding Out: This is magic. It's about focusing on what delicious things you can eat, drink or do and using this to crowd out what may be doing you harm. And it is 100% glorious.
